The Bike was purchased, brand new from Johnny Britain (Pictured top right) in November 1969. Johnny Britain had previously been a Royal Enfield Works Trials Rider. Interceptors were very hard to purchase in the UK at this time, as they were being exported to the USA market. Johnny used his contacts and influence to make a special MK2 order for Richard Elkington.

Mark owned the bike until 1981 when I (Mick Page) purchased it and still own it to this day. The bike has done over 80’000 miles including many trips to the Isle of Man.

The bike is now in need of some TLC!
