Triumph Part Number Conversion Notes

Important information for pre 1973 machines – in 1973 Triumph introduced a numerical part numbering system which superseded the old alpha-numeric system. For these earlier models the following information will help to find the new number in our price list. Prefix letters have been converted to numeric prefixes, as shown in the table opposite. We use a plain dash – to separate part number fields. If you are having no result with the search engine, try using just the last four numbers (max) or just the numbers after an alphabetic character.
