Hi-Performance Billet Connecting Rods
Manufactured in the USA
Our new Billet Aluminium Connecting Rods are CNC machined from a specially developed 7 series aluminium. This spec gives up to 30% increase in tensile strength over standard billet con rods manufactured from standard aluminium.
The material specification is cold extruded under 2,000 plus tons of pressure to ensure consistent grain flow and density. This yields the strongest possible rod with exceptional fatigue resistance.
All material is ultrasonically tested and bores are precision honed to the correct specification. Mating surfaces are (circle loc) serrated for perfect cap to rod alignment and all corners are blended to avoid any possible stress risers. Connecting rod caps are secured with 3/8″ A.R.P 2000 automotive rod bolts, with a tensile strength of 190,000LBS!
These con rods are a direct replacement for the original forged type con rods which can often be prone to failure failure through fatigue and age related problems. The conrods run direct and so there is no need for small end bushes.
